Makapu'u is located on the East side of Oahu and has some of the most beautiful views I have seen on the island. With our due date quickly approaching, as well as our move, we decided to take the opportunity to capture this location for our maternity photos, so we could share them with our little man once he is older.
The waves and the colors of the water created the perfect backdrop for our photos and truly embody the essence of the Hawaiian islands. The weather was a little windier than usual, so it made going in the water a challenge, but we had a lot of fun splashing around for a few hours and hanging out with our friends after our little maternity shoot.
I can't wait to take some more maternity photos in New York and get some gorgeous views of the Hudson Valley in a bundled up outfit. Stay tuned to see part two of our maternity shoot in the next couple of weeks.
